This might be too obscure...

...in a Dennis Miller, overly-cerebral sort of way. This is a classic case of "if I have to explain it, it will take too long and it won't be funny any more." But here is the thing that cracked me up this morning:

Okay, since several of you have asked (people DO read this blog--whaddya know?), here's the deal: Facebook has a 'news feed' that shows you updates of friends and groups you are a part of. There is an option to remove certain updates from your feed, called "hiding". Hence the "Hide Jews" humor.

The link is to a Wiki article about Corrie ten Boom, who was a WWII single-woman Underground Railroad. She hid many Jews from the Nazis and escorted them to safety. Her biography, "The Hiding Place", was made into a movie. She is a fascinating woman.

There. Now you get it. Told you it would take too long to explain. ;o)
